About me
Jackie Dyson
I’m a yoga teacher and I offer practices that aim to keep the body strong and supple, the mind clear and focused and the heart and spirit uplifted. I’ve been a student of yoga for thirty years and continue to study and be mentored on my own journey. I’ve picked up gems of wisdom along the way and my teaching comes with a passion to share what I’ve learnt. In my view, yoga is not only about what we can achieve on the mat, but what we can take away from the mat to help us be the best version of ourselves in the world. Yoga has transformed my life, I’ve seen it transform the lives of others, and that’s my reason for doing what I do.
I hold a British Wheel of Yoga Teaching Diploma, a Level 3 Mindfulness Certificate and have countless hours of CPD and additional training in the field of anatomy and physiology, āyurveda, mindfulness, philosophy, teaching yoga for specific therapeutic needs, reiki and life coaching.

Yoga Classes
Come as you are and do what you can
It doesn’t matter whether you are a complete beginner or a life long practitioner, whether you are young or old, in great physical shape or have injuries or health considerations, there is a space for you in class.
All classes include āsana (postures), prānāyāma (breathwork), meditation, and relaxation techniques. We will usually work with a theme over a few weeks to explore the different aspects of what yoga has to offer.

Thursday 10am to 11am at Coulsdon Osteopathic Clinic

Seasonal Celebrations: Aligning with Nature’s Rhythms
Join me at key turning points of the year—Imbolc, the Spring Equinox, Beltane, the Summer Solstice, Lammas, the Autumn Equinox, Samhain, and the Winter Solstice—as we honour the relationship between the Earth and Sun and celebrate the changing seasons.
Through movement, meditation, and ritual, we’ll connect with nature’s rhythms and tap into our own inner wisdom. These sessions will take the form of online classes and in-person retreats, designed to embrace each season’s unique energy. Whether it’s the awakening of spring, the vibrancy of summer, the letting go in autumn or the introspection of winter, we’ll use these moments to find inspiration and live in harmony with the natural world around us.

Taking time to retreat is essential for reconnecting with ourselves and gaining clarity in the midst of life’s busyness. Retreats provide a dedicated space to step away from daily distractions, allowing us to pause, reflect, and recharge. They offer an opportunity to deepen self-awareness, nurture our well-being, and align with our inner rhythms. In this stillness, we can gain perspective, cultivate balance, and return to our lives with renewed energy, focus, and purpose. Retreating is not an escape—it’s an act of self-care and a powerful way to reconnect with what truly matters.

Half Day Retreat at Tranquility Yoga Studio
